I decided, at the final minute, to accept fried rice with something my Girl-in-law prepared. This was adept and quick. Everyone liked it, idea it was really practiced for being so quick. I didn't accept the chicken broth, so I used craven boullion, and it ended up a little salty, but I can't arraign that on the recipe. I really "fried" information technology a little at the end by calculation a little more than oil, this seemed to take away the "Minute Rice" texture, and get in better. I'd definitely use this recipe again when I'grand pinched for time.

I fabricated this tonight and beau and I both loved it. I made it exactly like it said simply accidentally put the veggies in frozen. I only allow them oestrus slowly until thawed so brought information technology to a boil- no biggie. I will definitely brand this often. It was succulent and so piece of cake. Served with teriyaki chicken~ YUM.

This is my default recipe for stir-fried rice. I've been making this for so long that it'south about fourth dimension I comment on it. I usually do non melt any vegetables in it though considering I make chicken with broccoli when I serve this rice. I cook exactly as stated, only at the cease before I combine the egg, I add together 1-two minced garlic cloves (depending on size) and iii-four tablespoons of State O' Lakes Light Butter. Once the butter melts throughout and egg is added, make sure it's well mixed. Then, I just cap it for a few minutes on low to heat back up. Yous tin add together some salt and pepper to taste as well, but you lot shouldn't need any more table salt with the soy. Let's just say information technology'south the all-time stir-fried rice you'll ever swallow!!!! Such a great foundation to complete my perfect stir-fried rice recipe! Hope this helps and you relish!!

I was and so surprised at how easy and bully tasting this was. I had to modify the rice- I had chicken flavor steam in the purse rice; so i used a 1/2 cup of water along with the soy sauce and steamed the rice in the pan. I also added garlic powder and about 1/2 tsp footing ginger. Super skilful- zilch left- my kids who won't affect take out fried rice asked for seconds. Will apply again and will add together meat.
07/18/2009
I made the recipe exactly equally written but left out the vegetables. It was delicious! Will certainly exist cooking it again!!!
09/09/2009
Super easy. I just did one thing different. I added cooked pork loin that was left over. I did non take anything out of the pan. I merely pused things to the side as needed. my family, including picky children gobbled it downwardly. I would add an actress egg adjacent time.
11/22/2010
Non impressed in the least. It was goose egg like stir fry rice.
12/23/2010
Very good and easy. I also added about half a cup of shelled edamame and some finely chopped carrots to the vegetables. I also added cubed craven that I sauteed in some fresh ginger and garlic (at the same fourth dimension you add the cooked egg to the mixture). After I mixed everything upwards at the end, I sauteed the whole mixture briefly on med-loftier heat in about i-2 T of butter that had been sauteed with some more than fresh ginger. Succulent and tasted very fresh and healthy (although I'm sure information technology would accept been healthier without the butter).
04/26/2009
This was peachy, i thought information technology might be a bit banal but information technology was perfect. I added a bit more oil at the finish of cooking to help the infinitesimal rice texture as someone else advised, thanks.
01/06/2010
I have tried so many "fried rice' recipes and this is the only one I'll exist using from now on. Perfect as is, and of grade y'all can add whatever accompaniments you prefer.
12/06/2010
Piece of cake and good. Added shrimp and more veggies
08/18/2010
made according to recipe and information technology was merely okay. Alittle bland.
12/28/2009
So easy and you can change up the veggies to suit your taste. I used Dark-brown Minute Rice and half a bag of frozen stir-fry vegs, added fresh light-green onion, cabbage and mushrooms. My dh who "hates" brown rice, LOVED it!
06/01/2010
I thought it was a chip banal.
06/29/2010
This was astonishing! It was and then easy and very moist and flavorful. I will exist making this again and again!
10/26/2010
My husband made this for a potluck. He followed the recipe and didn't make any changes, and this came out perfectly! Everybody loved it - thank you for sharing!!
12/28/2010
This dish has get a household favorite. Simple to make and very satisfying. Tastes merely like have-out!
10/07/2010
This was very good and extremely simple to brand. Thanks
xi/06/2010
This recipe was okay. Utilise water ice cold rice. I also think that adding the eggs straight into the skillet with the rice is meliorate than scrambling them in advance, setting them aside and using them later.
xi/12/2010
Tasting, just not very interesting.
08/21/2010
I made this rice as a side to a chicken terayki recipe that was also on website, the rice was a chip bland next fourth dimension I make i will add more seasoning peradventure some garlic it just needed a little some thing extra to accept information technology ordinary to boggling!
12/14/2010
This recipe was fabulous! I couldn't believe it was made with infinitesimal rice. We opted to NOT add vegetables and it turned out awesome, but I recollect it would exist even better with the veggies. We added a lilliputian oil and quick stir fried at the end per some other suggestion. This was oh, so simple. I will utilize this recipe again and once more. Thanks for sharing!
x/20/2010
This was SUPER like shooting fish in a barrel, super fast and my kids tore information technology up.. what's left to say!?! P.South. I didn't have stir fry veggies, simply frozen peas.
12/16/2010
Awesome! I beloved this recipe. Stir-fried rice is a huge hit in my family. I add whatever veggies I want and toss it all together and it's perfect! Thanks! On a separate note...I did add a nuance of onion and garlic powder (simply to requite it that extra oomph).
06/29/2010
Very good, very elementary recipe. Nosotros made this to become with a peanut chicken skewer recipe on here. It's delicious, non as well salty, rice doesn't stick together. Will make this again for certain.
eleven/02/2010
QUICK, Easy AND Delicious!!!! I used peas and carrots for the frozen veggies. My family unit ate it upwards in seconds, including my picky 6 twelvemonth old!
02/04/2011
This recipe was not bad! I would recommend using 10-12 oz of the broth, instead of 14.5 oz. Information technology was a picayune too "wet" with that much broth. Otherwise, great recipe!
06/04/2011
This is ok. Its the same recipe that is on the back of the infinitesimal rice box minus the eggs. Tastes nothing like "takeout". Sorry I'll keep looking.
01/xxx/2010
I used sesame oil as another reviewer suggested and it fabricated the eggs gustation awful. I'm not sure if information technology was just because of that but this dish was pretty bad.
01/26/2011
I doubled this recipe and plant I needed a picayune more broth that what the recipe calls for. My family loved this dish, and there was plenty left over for a second meal. Volition definitely brand again!
02/05/2011
I did modify a few things, beginning I bought mixed veggies instead of the stir fry ones then my rice had corn and beans in information technology and I added an onion. I also forgot to add the chicken broth, simply I added 2 servings of rice that was already cooked.
05/twenty/2009
Very good, still I did make a change to it, I did not boil my rice and veggies in the goop considering I used ww rice and it takes longer. I heated the veggies up in the broth, cooked the rice, drained the broth, added the rice and slowly added the broth until it evaporated. Then I added the egg right before serving (which I dont get because ill be eating it and all of a sudden and egg chunk, seems weird) Anyways it was very very good and surprisingly filling.
02/28/2011
I would apply fresh vegetables instead of frozen. When I made this, the frozen vegetables were mushy and ruined the whole dish.
05/15/2010
Squeamish basic fried rice recipe. I had a bag of frozen stir-fry veggies that needed used up so this was a perfect recipe for that purpose. I didn't realize the directions said to cook the rice in chicken broth. I had already cooked my rice seperatley in water. Oops. I added thinly sliced beef that also needed used upward. Topped with dark-green onions.
05/sixteen/2010
Extremely like shooting fish in a barrel and quick! I followed the recipe without the veggies. I tasted the rice afterwards letting it steam for 5 minutes and decided to put it back on the burner adding about 1 i/2 tablespoons of veggie oil and an egg and let it melt until it got to the consistency I liked. And then I added in the eggs I cooked earlier hand and information technology was PERFECT! :) This is my go to recipe for fried rice.
06/27/2014
Quick, easy and filling. Definitely needs a a little extra flavoring in addition to the soy sauce. I used sesame oil.
02/27/2011
I had leftover baked chicken and some leftover baked rice, then this took less than five minutes to make - and it was delicious. I am sure it is just as good made from scratch.
04/28/2011
adept and quick what more are we lookin for
03/16/2011
Turned out bad, we didn't swallow it.
05/09/2009
This was so piece of cake and surprisingly tasty for how quick and elementary it was. Nosotros used some canned mushrooms instead of the frozen veggies since we were making a veggie stir-fry to go with it. It tastes great. Also, we used a little over ane i/3 C water mixed with dry out buillion since nosotros didn't take canned. That turned out to exist the right amount of wet.
04/03/2011
I added shrimp but still thought that information technology could utilise a piffling more flavor.
07/12/2014
I made this i night when the peckish hit but it was besides late for my favorite spots, it came out sort of banal so maybe an increase of dosage on goop and soy but for me this recipe did zip. Still decent enough that night when you need a side dish fast.
02/23/2011
Soo practiced! Instead of frozen veggies, I added diced onions and carrots and frozen peas. After rice cooked, I added diced pork tenderloin, half can of drained edible bean sprouts and about a tablespoon of fresh grated ginger. Nosotros added extra soy and Chinese hot mustard to our ain servings. Just every bit expert the next twenty-four hour period!
02/26/2011
Super piece of cake and delicious. I add together whatever kind of leftover meat and it rocks.
11/17/2009
Not sure if I did something wrong but I followed the directions to the letter. I did omit the vegetables considering we're non a fan. There just wasn't a lot of flavor. Give thanks yous for sharing but it's non something we'll have once again.
11/18/2014
This rice is unproblematic to brand for a large crowd and they will love it! I steamed brownish rice the night before and left information technology covered on the stove. I fried the veggies in olive oil correct before the party and so added the rice to the one-half cooked veggies. In one case everything was cooked I stirred in the scrambled eggs and it came out perfect. Many people asked for the recipe!!
05/10/2011
Nosotros actually merely put in the egg without whatever of the veggies - mainly because we didn't accept any at the time. I did add a little onion powder, only for flavor. It turned out crawly, and we've had information technology once more since. Information technology was quick and piece of cake and very tasty. Definitely a new favorite.
02/xiv/2010
AMAZING! Just like we had ordered out!
05/31/2013
Quick, like shooting fish in a barrel and delicious. Definitely one of those recipes for a busy household. I have been in a pinch more on many occasions and can whip this up fast. Yum!
06/14/2010
Great recipe! Added craven to it. It was a hit for the kids too! Next time I am going to add more meat to it.
04/29/2009
I always have trouble making rice, just this turned out perfectly. I cooked it little longer than it called for and added chicken because my husband will not consume anything if doesn't take meat. This will be added to our weekly dinners.
01/07/2008
It'southward not my dad'due south, but his takes much longer than 15 minutes! I used sesame oil rather than veg.
04/01/2010
Over again, simplicity is key! This recipe is down right the about perfect stir fry made at home...closest to restruaunt way I accept establish yet and it was a huge hit in the family "chinese" nutrient night!! My healthy twist ~ low salt soy sauce, fresh brocolli pieces, instant chocolate-brown rice and sprayed pan with cooking spray and scrambled egg whites. The best fried rice I have ever made! Thanks for the recipe!!
02/20/2015
This was so easy and really great for a quick weeknight dinner!
12/14/2014
This was such a quick & piece of cake recipe! I dearest it! Next time I will marinate my chicken and add together some boosted seasoning to the entire dish! But over all....this was yummy!
12/08/2009
Great recipe! So easy. I changed the cooking method a little bit b/c I wanted a "existent" fried rice. Instead of cooking the eggs first I waited until the rice was cooked, then cooked the eggs in with the rice as information technology was frying. It made it nice and gummy. Super tasty!
05/05/2010
Tried this final dark. only had green onion and carrots. Came out perfect! Thanks.
10/xviii/2009
So quick an easy!! A family favorite and I simply add together shrimp. I practice take to add just a footling water to aid the rice along but still fantastic!!
09/17/2016
I've made this twice at present and I love it! I've been trying to consume a mostly vegetarian diet and this is a very tasty dish. I use a rice cooker and not-stick wok and it actually makes a big difference in final texture and quality. Fresh cut peppers and onions from the garden + whatever frozen veggies I have on mitt. I subbed sesame oil the first fourth dimension and didn't accept soy sauce the second time and used a stir fry sauce and both substitutions turned out great. My mother raises hens and the taste of fresh eggs in this recipe is incomparable. I melt for one only still make a large batch and tin relish all week long or information technology freezes very well. Great dish for meal prepping!
01/06/2008
This was easy and surprisingly great!! I didn't have a lot of hope because information technology seemed a little 'boring' merely boy was I wrong!
05/05/2010
Tried this concluding night. just had green onion and carrots. Came out perfect!Thank you.
08/14/2018
Very bland. Information technology needed a lot of doctoring. I added sesame oil, garlic pulverisation, ginger, rice vinegar and dried spring onions. After those additions it was a bit ameliorate.
01/13/2019
I used 2 eggs and rather than leaving the vegies long, I cutting into smaller chunks. Delicious. I used long grain 'baked' rice. Vegies I left a bite in them before putting it together and that allowed the flavors to join in without overcooking the veggies.
03/06/2009
This was actually good! I did not have white Minute Rice so I fabricated it with the brownish. I besides had a little left-over chicken that i added. Information technology was quick and easy!
12/19/2018
Threw shrimp in equally the rice cooked, very skillful.
11/14/2016
Made this it is awesome
05/16/2011
This recipe is so delicious! It's perfect just the manner it is- the only changes I made was that I used ane of my favorite brands of chicken bouillon to make my chicken broth, and I added a petty chip of onion pulverization. Other than that, I followed this recipe & everyone loved it!! I definitely recommend this one!
04/xv/2009
This recipe was delicious, only I was left with the rice and a whole lot of chicken broth that was unnecessary. I had to drain the excess broth, only the remaining fried rice was amazing!
12/07/2021
Love it easy and not bad !!!
07/08/2009
really swell except im kinda new to cooking and didnt know that normal rice is different from minute rice and had to add loads of water in the cease. then i suggest cooking rice outset so doing everything else every bit suggested.
09/10/2020
Was simply neat
04/18/2010
My daughter loves this recipe. Easy simple and succulent. I tend to use whatever veggies are on paw. I love to utilise peas and sliced carrots. I only apply 2 eggs and scramble them in smart balance butter. Make certain y'all utilize minute rice instead of the other quick rices. I used the x minute boil in the bag rice and I had to melt it longer.
11/15/2009
My family loved this! The only changes I made were to add a piddling more than soy sauce and some teriyaki sauce I had on hand. Information technology has a very mild flavor that my children (13 & 7 years erstwhile) loved!
04/xv/2009
I added some chopped up ginger and garlic, tiny fleck of fish sauce and a tablespoon or so of brownish sugar to this base recipe. yum!!
04/11/2016
This was an an piece of cake to make recipe using what I already had in the kitchen. I used regular rice instead of Minute Rice. I didn't have frozen stir-fry vegetables then I cut upwardly some onion and fresh carrots and sauted with garlic Then I tossed in some frozen corn (thawed) and added parsley towards the end of cooking with egg.. I used olive oil and no butter. Superb! My husband said it was "infrequent". This dish is now added to my armory of culinary wonders that I tin melt. The simplicity of the recipe allows you lot to easily tweak it based upon your own tastes and available recipes.
01/05/2016
I have been using min rice and making this for years and I happened by this recipe and read some reviews and I noticed a reviewer saying it is nothing like fried rice. That'southward because it's not, the frying step is completely skipped in this recipe. I ready the rice per the box instructions (add together frozen mixed veggies) then I put the rice in the freezer to arctic for about x min. put about a tbsp of wok oil in a skillet ( regular oil or olive oil will also work) just yous take to actually fry information technology for information technology to be fried rice..... add soy and egg at this time. I too throw a lil stir fry sauce in with the oil sometimes only exercise information technology right before you put the rice in or it will burn down Makes all the deviation!!!!!!
10/21/2016
added a picayune garlic powder and cooked jasmine rice in my rice cooker (zojirushi) with chicken goop then folded it into the other ingredients. soooo adept... my husband ate 2 total plates !! He has designated Wednesdays as "fried rice day" now.. haha ...
11/03/2015
Fabricated it basically following the recipe (only addition was a footling pork I had in the refrigerator). Kids loved information technology - fifty-fifty my unremarkably picky 17 year old son.
01/12/2020
I never review recipes only this ane I just have to. It was and then piece of cake and fast and delicious! I did add together some onion powder and garlic powder based on other reviews. 5 stars for sure.
02/08/2010
Bully recipe, Thanks. My kids loved it said it was better than chinese food.
01/30/2020
I'thousand going to be cooking this recipe in my own style and I'll exist doubling information technology. I'g going to practise the eggs. And then I'm going to plough upwards the dial to to a higher place medium heat. I'll stick in my olive oil and onions and garlic. The recipe is finished when I add the rest of the ingredients in one case the onions and garlic are washed. I'll be calculation basmatti rice instead of minute white rice, so it'll accept a bit longer to cook. I'll just utilize 8 cups of vegetable broth and four cups of white basmatti rice. That'due south it, that's my modify.
08/xix/2017
I didn't care for this. Information technology was not very flavorful and tasted like nether seasoned rice with frozen vegetables stirred in.
11/29/2009
I loved this stir-fried rice recipe. I did actually saute my rice in a skillet and I didn't use as much liquid.
03/08/2010
Simple, straight forward and yummy! A good quickie dinner, and perfect for leftovers!
